A lone wolf on the fence

The remaining super delegate on the political fence may be getting lonely up there in Wyoming.

All but one of the five state "superdelegates" have thrown support behind Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

That includes the state's party chief John Millin, Congressman Pete Jorgensen, Gov. Dave Freudenthal and the state's vice chair, Nancy Drummond, who, on Sunday decided to join the chorus.

At the state convention over the weekend, 65 percent of the delegates went for Obama.

"I've been listening to radio and reading everything I can possibly get my hands on to make sure I'm making the right decision for Wyoming," she said. "I think he's new and refreshing."

Drummond said she's received dozens of e-mails a day from Hillary Clinton supporters, threatening to stay home on election day if she is not on the ballot. Clinton campaign workers have apologized to Drummond for that message, she said.

"To me that is very sad," Drummond said. "They must like the way Republicans are running the country."
